Guess it depends a lot on your priorities.

Are you trying to get RDMs? For what kind of redemptions?

Securing elite benefits for travel next year? Where are you going? What travel class?

Just trying for best experience this trip? UA Plat enough for next year?

I don't think it makes sense to status match as this point unless you have an identified advantage for it over UA Plat.
