Are you sure about this? I'm sure that they have some way of dealing with people who qualify for the first time and not giving them their DSUs all at once.

When they qualify in Jan/Feb, they would still be under the old HGP rules so if new Diamond, they would get 4 that expire on Feb 28th. Then 4 more on March 1st, that expire on Feb 28, 2017. I haven't seen anything that says when a new member would get their second batch. Only that you get them when you requalify for Diamond, meaning already a Diamond and extending it one year, not 2.
