Status or redemptions more important?

If status - you need to factor in the 4 minimum sectors

If redemptions, many stood by AA but I'm not sure how it is now.

What about CC churns? My redemption activities revolve around SQ's KF so I don't really care about redemptions for the BIS airlines I take. Having *G is nice, but if you don't fly in economy, you are essentially going for the +20kg.

I think there are better programmes as compared to KF Gold for 50k miles to get +20kg for the minimal Y flights you will take.

I do credit to BA as getting status is nice + BA has nice short haul redemptions.

If you credit to BA for your KIX flights, you would earn 360 TPs RT.

Two of these + 4 sectors on BA will get your OWS. It's those 4 sectors which many be out of the way.

Oh ya, BA offers OWE lifetime status after 35k TPs. that's an added incentive.
