I use the A3 program. It has quite a low threshold for *G but the airline is great to its elites. 4 free Y->J upgrades per year just for requalifying for Gold. You can use those for the 4 qualifying sectors you need that will reduce the already low Gold mileage threshold by half. (12,000 miles including 4 A3 sectors, otherwise 24,000 miles). A J redemption TATL on any *A carrier is 90,000 miles return. 120,000 for F. So, redemptions also compare favourably to BAEC.
