AF PE is 2x4x2 on their 777's

I paid ~$350 for an OLCI upgrade to PE on CDG-LAX last fall. It made the flight bearable but that is about it -- especially since my other choice was the 3-4-3 Y seat ( I was re-routed off a DL flight when AMS was shut down for fog, wouldn't normally choose that flight).

If the fare is a 50% premium over Y and the alternative is 3-4-3 in Y, I think I would try to book on 330/767 flights when they exist. When those go away, well then we'll see (hopefully some years away).

How if GUC upgrade space is available at booking, that is a different matter. But with fewer J seats my guess those will be mostly gate/close in upgrades.

Oh well...

Added: If C+ still exists and is still free for PM/DM then I'd be happier. Still a narrower seat but at least more leg room.
