Except that's...not a thing. I couldn't tell if you were just referring to what is currently called Comfort+ and saying this was its equivalent for international flights (it's not), or using the old name "Economy Comfort" alongside a "+" to indicate something more than what is currently offered (which it is).
To be clear, it appears that Comfort+ will still be offered in the first few rows of the Main Cabin, and then the Premium Seats will fill the niche generically known as premium economy across multiple airlines. DeltaOne will continue to serve the segment generically referred to as business class.
Compare this to something like AF:
- Economy = Main Cabin
- Seat Plus = Comfort+
- Premium Economy = Premium
- Business = DeltaOne
- La Premiere = (no equivalent)
Also, count me among those who do not believe these seats in any way equate to domestic FC. They are a different product addressing a different segment and market entirely, IMO, and as someone else mentioned earlier, they are not the highest class of service in the markets they serve and thus are not meant to compete as such.
