thanks all - perhaps we'll stay where we are then to avoid the galley. He's quite used to being stepped over on the tube, so he won't even notice if someone steps over him on the plane and hopefully others won't mind doing so.

I fear that when people see a dog on board their hearts sink, but in reality they won't hear a peep out of him and he'll probably be the best behaved passenger on the plane
