I grew up detesting Brussels Sprouts, horrible horrible things.
But I always keep trying things as ya' never know.
Sure enough, I've now had two Brussels Sprouts dishes that I thought were fantastic, not just ok or passable, but fantastic.
I still can't say I look forward to seeing them on a menu but I don't have strong negative reactions anymore if they are present and will try them again.
