Hey folks. I'm new to MH, having just taken advantage of a business promo fare to visit Osaka for hanami next April.

From my scanning of these forums, it seems that Enrich as a programme has been devalued in recent years.

I've been wondering what to do with the miles, so my question to the knowledgable people here who fly MH is, where do you bank your miles and why? I'm after elite status mainly for the extra baggage allowance. Being able to pool miles together in one account (between two unmarried people living in the same address) would be a bonus.

Some relevant background info:

I'm based in Singapore. My partner and I fly on SQ's Krisflyer awards in F/J or paid Y for holidays 2x a year. We may swing some trips over to MH J if the promos continue. Probably won't bother with MH Y.

Work-wise, I fly SQ in J longhaul 4-6x, Y regionally 2-3x a year, and hold the regular PPS status there, which I will probably lose some time in the next few years.

Recently various clients have been cutting costs, and moving ahead I expect to be flying a wider variety of airlines, and because of the destinations at which I am required, probably in *A (LH/LX), Oneworld (CX/AY/QR) or non-aligned ME3 airlines like EY and EK.

So being able to redeem miles on those airlines would be of interest too.
