Air China is not a DL partner. Call Air China and give them your MP# for MP credit of the LAX-PEK-CKG segments. You can earn SM separately for PHX-LAX.

On Flyertalk, we usually refer to airlines by their official abbreviations (IATA codes):

AC = Air Canada
CA = Air China
CI = China Airlines
UA = United Airlines

Based on the description of your itinerary, you have 3 separate tickets from DL, CA, and UA.
