Perhaps you wouldn't think it was pretentious if you had a tight connection and there was one waiting for you! Most likely you would decline it then? And if you think the Porsche is pretentious, heavens knows what you think of the Bentley and Maserati SUVs. If people can afford the Porsche Cayenne, then why shouldn't they own one.
