I know tons of people who've never flown. Some are my relations, some are not. I'm also married to a Sri Lankan and lived in Sri Lanka for around a decade, and most people in that country are too poor to even bother getting a passport, never mind flying somewhere. And that Frequent Flyer bit? Doesn't work anywhere near as well outside the US. It's downright pathetic in Asia.
