Reviving this thread with a quick question; booking SFO-HND JL 01/ 777-300 and every window seat is booked but most of the aisle seats are available.
Middle three seats widely available, as well. I'm wondering if a group has this booked as it's unusual to see all the window seats gone and so few of the aisle.

We're a couple who would typically take a window/aisle configuration. 5EG are available but 5D is taken same thing in row 7.

Any thoughts as to the most desirable seats? Aisles across? Two of the three middle? The end aisle seats of the middle in the hope the middle seat isn't filled?

I'll keep checking for my preferred configuration, but in the meantime...
