In NH's staggered business class, no 2 seats in the entire cabin can see/converse well. The cabin is designed for comfort and privacy. I still love the cabin.

I would just pick 2 inside aisle seats in the same row. If you insist on a window, 1 of you can do so and the other can be across the aisle.

I avoid the true aisle seats since I prefer my table next to the aisle traffic. No pax will need to climb over another pax in this cabin.
