I was flying AC YVR-ICN connecting to KE ICN-DPS. Same ticket, C class. Air Canada was late and arrived to the gate 15 minutes before KE was scheduled to depart.

I was hoping to be escorted to the connection gate, but alas.

But I was impressed by the airport and ground handling. I was met by nice AC representative, who offered a couple of options, including a weird red eye on Thai and GA nonstop next day. I decided to take GA. I was escorted through immigration, got really nice hotel, got dinner voucher and was blown away by Garuda in C. Did the same trip again this year now with a scheduled stopover and of course took GA to DPS.

If you are worried about connection in ICN, break up your trip and enjoy Seoul, which is a fun place to spend 1 or 2 days.
