I have qualified for Plat for 2017. I have an upcoming trip and it will put me over the Diamond (MQD/MQM) threshold. Is it possible to not enter my Skymiles number on the first half of the itinerary and then add it on the return segments.
Yes, I lose out on the miles/mqm on the outbound segments but I want to stay at Plat and rollover mqm's for the following year (as I don't think I will be flying enough to get to Plat from scratch).
Any potential that this may not work? The trip involves DL, AF, KL.
