i wonder if any other countries have laws that prevent expiration.

i can see the same argument that is lodged in favour of no expiration of gift cards analogous to this one to some degree.

as with cash, points devalue over time and yet why should they expire? they certainly are not free like the cash used to purchase gift cards?

frankly, won't matter to me since if you don't burn fast, they become useless anyway....or more useless.
