So, you're going there soon? OK, if the weather's fine (i.e. no winter storm) you can still go to swim (water temperature in the low 20s centigrade), the island will be less corwded than during the summer and several restaurants and bars will be closed, no lines and easy going through the Akrotiri antiquities. But anyway, it wouldn't have been "romantic" with you family either...
