I am having issues trying to SDFC online... I am traveling within the Northeast and my original flight is still not under the 24 hours window, but I booked the last option for the night, so in other words there are many earlier flights already under 24 hours. When I click on Same Day Flight Change I get a message saying there are no flights available for same day change.

I looked into Expertflyer using the exact same routing for all the options connecting through the same airport and the two earlier flight options are showing this (all under 24 hours):

I am not sharing my flight details to avoid violating Expertflyer's wishes of not sharing proprietary data to non-subscribers. If EF disagrees, please PM with instructions on how the data should be displayed. Thanks!

There are a ton more earlier connections through the same hub that are showing E7, but AA.com won't give me any options to change.

My question - is it just simply AA.com being broken (SDFC is definitely a benefit AA tries so hard to list for competitive reasons but not provide ) or is it because the rules require within 24 hours of my original departure not within 24 hours of the flight I want to change to?
