I know there are some older threads out there, but wanted to know if anyone had any recent experiences being able to upgrade from economy to business class on China Southern either at check-in, at the gate, or onboard. I have an upcoming flight from Los Angeles to Guangzhou and vice-versa and wanted to know if it was possible to upgrade and if so, what the cost would be. Thanks.
