I have a question, I have AUH-JFK-MIA in First (award miles), my JFK-MIA went from 757 (Int config) to 738. There is an earlier flight on a 767v2 for that leg, but departure time is 11:10am and MCT still 2hs for EY (I to D), which means I can not call now and make the change.

If I arrive at JFK around 9:10am, can I use SDFC even if the new flight doesn't qualify for MCT?. I know that SDFC is available for award miles (some agents may still don't know that yet), but how does it work with award miles? I need to make sure there is "E" and just "F" and I will get my First class seat right?. Besides, what will happen with my luggage? they will go on my original flight? I'm asking this too because AUH have pre-clearance, so the bags should go all the way to MIA, but I don't know how that works if I'm able to change when I arrive or during my long-haul flight.
