A decade ago, deals would stick around for days or weeks. If a deal came around on a Friday evening, you usually had the whole weekend to book it.
Now, with the teeming masses looking for their $300 F to Europe ticket, anything posted on FT will be picked clean to the bone in hours. Add in the bloggers, and the alert software that many airlines probably have, and you'll be lucky if you see 5-10% of the real Jumbos.
Like Izzik pointed out, most people have gone underground, FB or private groups. There are too many yahoos just calling the airline/hotels, or abusing deals.
So much this. I have a fd I've been using for about 4 years now but I refuse to let anyone know about for fear of losing it. I was about to post it but once secret flyer let everyone know about a certain one way FD I've decided to keep it hidden.
