IIRC you can acutally jump on a local train with these tickets, but those don't run nearly as often and would require more planning

I love this web site. Every time I post, I end up learning something new. Guess I'll have to go back to Prague and try the above things I missed.

I was already sorely tempted by Karlovy Vary, and only tried 5 of the 30 beers at the Beer Museum . (The sampler size was just over $1 a glass.)

While I'm at it, the 4* Hotel Beseda Prague was a Hotwire bargain at $55/night. Comfortable, an amazing included buffet breakfast, 2 short blocks from the metro and very central.
