Agree with others that the front cabin is better for sleep. Much more noise tends to come from the rear galley and coach cabin.
One thing to consider is that in 2A/3A or 2J/3J, you will mostly be unable to communicate with each other in any more than small exchanges. The seats are positioned and divided for privacy, so either row 2 needs to half stand up and spin around in their seat, or someone needs to basically stand in the aisle.
It's fine if all you're doing is sleeping, but if you at all want to interact, the middle seats are much better.
Mrs. Lee used to always be a MUST HAVE WINDOW passenger as she doesn't like to feel shut in. We took 2J/3J one time on a TATL, and now in 1-2-1 cabins she insists on the middle seats instead. On long-haul flights the shades are closed half the time or you're just looking at an ocean anyway, and in D1 the pods are large enough that not seeing outside isn't as big of a deal for her.
Ultimately it's all personal preference, so just another aspect to consider.
