IMO all IB J configurations are better than Air France J. Air France F might be a different discussion. And that's before considering you'd earn Avios or AA miles and status credit, versus earning useless AF or some other Skyteam miles.
Actually in 6 days the last of the old configuration will be retired so effectively at this point, all IB long haul J is the new configuration.
