this happens to me all the time with orbitz. i use orbits mainly for hotels. i would say 90% of the time, only a higher fare is available.

as for flights on orbitz, never for me. to CO's benefit, i have chosen a particular flight and many times been told on the next page that a LOWER fare has been found. could be stupid on their part, but cool for me.
