Afaik Plats receive no special benefits, but you can use a room upgrade cert to upgrade to a room with a better view.

Neither the free night certs nor the FAF rate includes meals, game drives, service fees or park fees.

Some promo rates include meals/game drives/etc. while others don't. Any rate that includes that stuff will be at least $400-$600/night. If it's $100-$200/night, it definitely doesn't include it.
