Our home is about 2.5 miles E and 2 miles S of the terminal at OKC. We see it every time we fly. (Look for the water tower E of the airport; we're two blocks S) Sadly, we're usually both low enough and close enough to see whether or not I should have done the yardwork.
For residents, and even frequent visitors, OKC's landmarks are easily recognized from the air. One hopes this isn't the only reason why there is rare confusion among the various places to put aircraft safely on the ground.
