United is the worst, with their "bing!" following by "the seatbelt sign has been turned on ..." Such a startling sound wakes you up even if sound asleep. It also doesn't make sense, because if you are sleeping (thus seated) and didn't already listen to the rules to put on your seatbelt I'm pretty sure being rudely woken up won't change that.

And also Asian airlines, which translate announcements again and again (a total of 3 or 4 languages sometimes). Especially the duty-free announcements.
