Most? I guess you all are a good deal wealthier than I am. Flying in J is nice and all, but the extra $2K or so isn't just pocket change to me. I consider that to be serious dough and I can think of a lot of other ways that I could better spend that kind of money.
Agreed. What a ridiculous statement. Just looking at any of the flights, you see many more people sitting in Y than in F or J. Obviously the vast majority are looking for Y. Otherwise, the cabin sizes would be very different.
I have flown in both J and Y over to Asia on several airlines. While I like the upper deck of KE's A380, DL's C+ product isn't all that bad, and I choose those seats for free at booking. At the end of the day, when I'm standing in BKK, SIN, HAN, etc., whether I flew in Y or J is irrelevant, but it's nice to still have the thousands of extra dollars in my pocket. If I can find J on deep discount, I'll take it, but given most of my tickets are purchased three weeks out, Y is better.
