Finally!!!! That gate was a Zone Boarding Disaster last year with wide bodies for 1136 etc and pax lined up down the main corridor.
A few pax for this flight did not know their zones were on their BPs but everyone managed to line up and all was neat and tidy.

At yvr gate 49 just now the zone lines and signs were positioned so that the zone 1 line went into the pillar.
Zone 1 was called first.
There was an opening in the barrier at the front of the zone 2 line to get in towards the gate, but a couple of zone 2's initially tried to block it. A firm "excuse me" later and we got through to board.
