LGA is more convenient for me, but I've never departed for SIN out of LGA before...

The main thing that I am concerned about is if there's something that would be taken care of at JFK but not at LGA. I know that this is different, but I've travelled to Canada and had to retrieve bags to go through customs, only to re-check it for another intra-Canada flight (and it was a pain to do). I just wanted to avoid any similar snags along the way to SIN.

Thanks for any input!
NYC-SIN on DL metal is going to cost you a fortune. Why not look for JFK-SIN on KE, MU or CZ for a fraction of the cost?
