No, there is no difference. Both JFK and LGA can do your document check, and as a GM you'll have access to SkyClubs in either airport. Your bags will be checked all the way through to SIN. On the return, you will retrieve them at MSP to clear customs.
Personally, I'd find a better option than multi-stop DL, but I guess if you're trying to maintain status or something... at least in SIN the airport itself is better than the "third party" lounge DL uses (for J pax only).
