As for the routing you detail, it isn't hard, you may not be aware but you can buy it on BA.com.
I believe that you introduced abusive behaviour when all I had asked for was advice on how to possibly avoid a physically unnecessary baggage problem. You may be aware that BA is increasingly uncooperative over interlining bags. I am unimpressed by their cost-paring antics and felt entitled to say so; so I did.
If you had read the original posting before dipping your pen in vitriol; you would have seen that I was seeking some kind of airside service, for which I would have gladly paid. I had thought that any such service would be kindly pointed out by a FT Member. I already knew full well that BA doesn't care to help.
You chose to criticise my travel plans: citing that I "want the advantage of lower fares from ex-EU fares and roundabout itineraries but don't want the hassle that comes with it." You were just guessing and you were a mile away from the facts.
And: Yes! You are correct that I "can buy it on BA.com." but you assume (as that is what you choose to do) that BCN was a part of my original travel plans. It was not.
Why don't you try to be constructive and pleasant; instead of critical and condemnatory? Others were helpful. You were simply smug.
