I just wanted to post a quick review of a place we randomly stumbled upon during our week in Tokyo. It was in the Shimokitazawa neighborhood, which we found very interesting. It was a small unassuming Yakitori with amazing food, and an even better atmosphere. I believe it is called Techan? A few locals spoke english, and asked how we found this place. It was clear they don't get a ton of tourists.
