That is true. Every Embassy Suites I have ever stayed at has a true suite layout (aka a door separating the two areas). There are a lot of "suites" out there which are one room suites aka junior suites. I think that is why they are specifically noting two room in their room description. If you are ever looking for two bedrooms, you need to look for that specific term "two bedrooms" the absence of which means one bedroom area.
