Yep, I was on the inaugural flight on Tuesday!
While they are supposed to fly the route on the new A330, this one was on a A340 - I think because of all officials and press that went on the flight they needed more biz seats. Spanish television was filming on board, firefighters welcomed us with the water salute in Narita and Japanese press was filming while deplaning. Quite funny.
Wasn't impressed with IB's service in Eco though. The crew, with some newly hired Japanese FA's, seemed to be very unprepared and nervous. Enjoying some days of Japanese autumn now... ;-)
