Benefits of LHR to JFK are:

- likely a newer cabin with better IFE
- much better lounges with spa facilities
- you can choose to fly AA which personally I prefer (others don't) - also if you don't have status you get free seat selection on AA, unlike on BA
- for JFK-LHR, you can use the arrivals lounge - not available at LGW
Thank you, I just saw that as well! Been combing through reviews of business seats, seems like AA on the 777 gets much better reviews.

What would the benefit(s) be to flying BA business to LHR rather than AA?
