Big caveat though: BA Holidays does sometimes book into redemption classes in my experience. When crediting to BAEC that's not a problem, they'll give you the appropriate TP and Avios as soon as you ask. If crediting to a OW partner it may be a different story though...
Have you had that happen with CW bookings? I'm only aware of it happening wth X class for economy bookings.
