I agree - I think the reason is that the Minneapolis property, opened later than Chigago (about March 2003), incorporated LeMeridien's new Art&Tech design concept. This includes the use of frosted/opaque glass, 42" plasma televisions, "power-showers", etc. Other properties with Art&Tech rooms include the new Royal Meridien Hamburg (Sept. 2003) and also, I thnk, the LeM property on the Ringstrasse in Vienna.
Those mentionsing the Pen and the PH should note that they are a few blocks away, while the LeM and the Marriott are directly across Mich. Ave.
