No, they definitely do it there so I think it is more likely that maybe there was no special service person available there and then and the agent thought that you would be best off just going straight or else a rogue agent who did not do what they should? It has to be international F (or JFK-LAX vv, JFK-SFO vv, or MIA-LAX vv in three class F but I assume that's what you had)

Nope, nothing when you land on BA any more. They used to offer security escort only when arriving on BA 3 (the LCY-JFK that stops in SNN after pre-clearance has now stopped) but that was explicitly refused when I last arrived on that service (they said F pax had protested to CBP!!!) I must say I have not had anything special when arriving with LH F either (do they do it anywhere?) only on AF F where they escorted me to the front of the immigration queue.
