I'm surprised by your AA experience: you are normally offered line cutting at stations with flagship checkin (JFK, ord, lax). Special services agent walk you there, at lax there is even an actual path reserved for it. I've also had it at mia but it seemed more random.
Ah, interesting. Never got that. Flew in Flagship only from ORD, maybe they don't do it there, but that would surprise me.
Also never knew British Airways offered it. Do they also offer it on arrival? I arrived in BA First in the US about two weeks ago (or was it three?) and there was nothing of the sort.b
