Bars and restaurants and convenience stores are selling alcohol today again after the end of Bhuddist Lent which was celebrated yesterday. Beer bars have been told to tone down their lighting, play any music quietly and not hold parties or other ''celebrations''

Here in Pattaya we have now been advised that the following major public celebrations will not be held.... Pattaya International Foreworks Festival 2016, Loykratong Festival 2016, and New Year countdown 2016/2017 will not be held. In addition to this the Bangkok Film Festival will be postponed to next year.
