Hello-

Stayed at the Nines after spending 2 nights at the Westin just down the street. The Nines is in a great location to be in the middle of the city. However, I am not sure it is worth the points or $$ to stay there. The lounge is nice - food was good but not many vegetarian or low-carb options (not critical but would have been nice). Did get asked to take our outside food somewhere else one night when we arrived at 9:45 (closes at 10) to get some drinks and enjoy our late dinner.

When we checked in we were told we were upgraded to a city view room vs atrium view room for being Platinum. We were there celebrating our 10 year anniversary and had called ahead to alert them. There was no mention at check in nor did we receive any celebration while we were there. We did elect for Green choice as we normally do but were not told at checkin that would preclude us from turn down service and newspaper delivery.

Overall - it was a very nice hotel but did not feel special for being platinum or for our celebration.

I enjoyed our time at the Westin just as much.
