The Fry's Electronics near me might have started supporting EMV for MC/AmEx/Discover now. I paid with Visa this time but I did notice that the "insert or swipe" prompt only shows English text now (originally showed a Spanish/French translation below the prompt--I forget which language exactly). The EMV transaction was also much faster.

Unfortunately, still no contactless. And still had to sign on a paper receipt too.
