Diners Club is accepted in the physical shops just not online.

In terms of acceptance DC is good in Switzerland - the major shops pretty much take it (except Mediamarkt).

The problem with Dinersclub is France - you've got a better chance winning the lottery there then getting any acceptance (except hotels).

It's also a pity that Cornerbank haven't enrolled diners club in apple pay yet.
