Some considerations, I'm flying Avianca this week from SFO to EZE and planning to fly Turkish to Middle East in February. Interested which Star Alliance program to join. I have Sapphire Reserve so it seems best options for transfering are KrisFlyer and United Mileage Plus. Just comparing accrual on my Avianca flight, KrisFlyer will give me 100% on class W & P whereas United will accrue 50%-75% on the same classes.

Is KrisFlyer the way to go then, considering I have UR points, I fly discount economy, and plan to redeem on Turkish airlines or other Star Alliance partners?
