It was more the fact that neither MMB or itinerary mentioned lounge access whereas on previous bookings they always seemed to. I had assumed we would get access but thought that in the current environment perhaps the programs had been updated for a future "enhancement" regarding guests. I am actually quite a fan of Madrid's T4S lounge, especially the wine area on the left when you enter.
