The main issue would be that redeeming *A awards on TK is a complicated affair. Since paid TK is so cheap, it would be "a waste" to redeem on TK, and therefore you'd have to spend your TK miles on other partners, and that's difficult.

If you are otherwise happy with LM, I wouldn't switch, provided of course that these deep discount J tickets on TK accrue miles in the program.
