I am trying to purchase a one way ticket from PVG via HKG to HKT.

I managed to get as far as the payment screen where you can choose two options. 1: is pay later, and 2: is to pay via a "Union Pay" or "Allipay on card" system. There is no option for normal VISA/Amex/Mastercard

If I choose pay later, it issues me with the booking reference number and says I have 24 hours to pay, and if I go to MMB to pay the same choices above are the only ones available.

Has anyone else had this? Is there a way to pay for this flight with my UK VISA? I'm guessing it has something to do with the fact the origin is China, but surely there should be the standard visa/amex/mastercard choices?

The only other option I can think of is to ring Cathay Reservations but apparently they don't like to work on Sundays, anywhere in the world!

Any info would be greatly appreciated!
